Norse Winds Kennel
Well its official. I have to get out of mushing for the next few years. I have to go back to school to provide for my family. I am currently getting married in Sept this year and were getting our own house and looking to have a kid.  I really hate having to lose my best dogs, but my life is getting ready for some changes. I hope to get back into it after school is over and I've had a chance to settle in. I really want them to go to a good home where they can be raced because they deserve it. I only got to put a couple hundred miles on them, not nearly enough. I am going to move up north after school is over to better accommodate the dogs. I hope that one of you reading this will want them. It will really be a blessing if they could have a good home. I will work with someone on payments and delivery just ask me. Well I guess that's all that's going on here. Just a little bummed. Well a lot of bummed. Please check out my for sale page. I have a litter of pups we just had so check them out too....
Hey sorry i havent posted lately. I have been super busy with the holidays! Just to let everyone know we have pups for sale they were born yesterday night. There are six but we dont know the sexes yet due to having a very protective momma. lol. They are for sale and are located on the for sale page. pictures will be up soon.

SO just to let everyone know we dropped out of our two races for the year. We have had nothing but problems with our logistics this year. my trucks 4x4 went out, the lighting on the trailer went out, puppies, heats, and about 12 days ago i almost got hit by some ididot in a deisel truck. The bad part is that i wasnt even on the road. he crossed over the road and almost went into the ditch. I have a huge tractor light that is definatly hard NOT to miss on my sled and he just shot for it, so needless to say i havent run in the past two weeks. Ive been just a little shaken up to be running so. Im on a break. I know the dogs need it but. UGH. i dont know.

WOO HOO!!!!! hopefully it stays!
I just wanted to thank Joe from 101 Outdoors for their sponsorship and helping out with so much! Thanks again JOE!
OK, so I promised someone I'd show him MIKKO going absolutley bonkers before hookup. Check it out on my video page! You'll get a kick out of it! I have never seen any dog want to work this hard!
WOW! A job were you get paid for doing what we love! That is awesome!
BIG NEWS! We switched dog food and dog food distributors! We no longer purchase or use EAGLE PACK dog food from Mattawan Pet Supplies. Sadly we had to move on and expand our "horizons" as its so well put and go to ADAMS HARDWARE here in Lawton and now we are feeding NATIVE LEVEL 4 dog food. The changes have been made to our B.A.R.K. program page and in the long run will save us quite a bit of money due to having a higher kcal, protein and fat content. So we will see how it performs and let you know. The link to their website will be added also in links. Thanks for your donations!!!

I finally got the chance to actually put some mileage on the kids. We kicked out around 20 miles in two days this weekend! Its about time. Temperatures finally starting to drop to a workable temp. Its gotta be about 40 degrees before I even think about running them hard. I hope soon it hits 30 so I can start knocking out the mileage. They are really doing great. HopefullyIi can pick up about three more Alaskans before the end of November. Then I'll be in business! Im going to post a video of my wheel dog Mikko soon, he is such a nut! We have to hook him up last. You'll really get a kick out of why. I have never seen a dog love his job as much as he does. If we dont hook him up last he'll chew through the lines and let everyone else but himself loose. LOL what a great dog...
I cannot believe how warm it is! It is so hot! i just cant seem to get the mileage out of them that i need. Its just way too hot! its 50 degrees! man somebody help me out and pray for some cold. I am praying like crazy! Oh yeah! if someone knows a good place to get some mileage here in the lower end of the state, namely the Lawton area it would be a great help! Dirt roads or ORV trails are great! Also please consider contributing or sponsoring we would greatly appreciate any help that you are willing to donate! Thank you so much for your support!
Boy! i am so excited! Training season is in the air. The dogs are so crazy right now!! I hope you enjoy hearing about our adventures! HAPPY TRAILS!
